Introducing Me...

 
My name is Colby Matsumoto and I currently live in Corvallis, Oregon but I grew up in the Bay Area in California. I live with two other people and their cute kitten (I also love dogs) and I work in finance in Albany. I am taking this class to fulfill a degree requirement for  and associate's in accounting, although I am looking forward to learning about the marketing side of business. I am interested in learning about the different marketing tools there are but something I am most interested to learn about in this class is how to market myself. I want to improve my profile and resume so that I can be a top candidate for my future career. I think it would be important to be able to market yourself for whatever you end up doing! 

Outside of class I really enjoy staying active! I have played sports (soccer, softball, volleyball) since I was young, but soccer is my favorite. I play whenever I can and practice with the Oregon State club soccer team. Other forms of exercise I do are running, hiking, biking (road or mountain), lifting and CrossFit. I like to go to the park with friends to play spike ball, frisbee and just to enjoy the nice weather when we have it! Something I recently picked up is disc golf, although I am not the nest, it is still a fun activity! I just love being social and exploring parts of Oregon, too. Apart from that, I am also known to be able to binge TV shows and enjoy a night in watching movies.

Although North Face has other competitors, it still maintains its clientele making it one of the top brands in its field for outdoor recreation apparel and gear. I am a big fan of North Face and their products and have been for some time now as I enjoy the outdoors and I find their products to be of great quality and long lasting for my lifestyle. Not only is it a well known clothing brand, but many athletes and adventure seekers are sponsored by North Face.
